Access to the ATNET Network

Value Added Network ATNET can be accessed in various ways:

Modem access via analog line

Modem access via normal analog line through a PBX at Telecom is used by most of our users. Automatic connection for the X.400 gateway PC can be obtained by using the ATNET Scheduler software.

Modem access via ISDN line

Modem or Router access via ISDN is used by mid-users. It can offer major speed for data flow and in case of Router use, all the Intarnet users can benefit from connection in an easy way.

Modem access via the leased line

Modem access via the leased line is very suitable for big users which need on-line internet connection or have a great flow of data. For the use of leased line the speed of 64K to 256K is suggested.

Direct Access for Users in the ATNET building

For the customers which have their offices in the ATNET building (Vojkovo Nabrežje 30/a in Koper) the use of direct access via the UTP cable is suggested. High speed at low cost is the reason.

Direct Access via the optic fiber in the area of the Port of Koper

Optic fiber connection is used between ATNET and the Port of Koper and Slovenian Railways.
The Port of Koper has a optical ring in the whole of its area. This link can be also used by users which have their offices in that area for connection to the ATNET network.
